Fabric Printing with Artist Wendy Osterweil

Youth Artist program is working with artist Wendy Osterweil to provide a series of workshops on screen printing on fabrics. Her work explores a variety of printing methods that you can do in a studio or at home.

Artist Wendy Osterweil will be working with us to create a project with screen printing on fabric. This amazing technique with all of its variety and forms will engage us in composition, stencil art, and pattern making with fabric. Silkscreen printing can involve so many origin techniques from digital to basic drawing, to graffiti type and much more.

The workshop is mandatory. All Youth Artists are expected to participate as part of our technical development at the Youth Artist Program.

The Workshops will culminate in a final field trip to the studio of Wendy Osterweil.

YPC Podcast Premier

Youth artist participants who wish to be part of our student-led podcast can meet with the group every Friday. We have a production meeting and then record the episode between 4:30 – 6 PM. Our first episode will be available on March 8 on our website and Soundcloud.

Conócenos/Get to Know Us

Conócenos in English translates as “know us.” Our Cultural Exploration and Youth Artist Programs open their doors and extend their arms in warm welcome as they host their Annual Open House. This year, the program is both open to current as well as prospective students and parents! YAP artists can bring their friends and family to come to experience Taller.
