Mixed Media Workshop with Jackie Zimmer
Wednesdays April 3, 17, 24, May 1
Artist Jackie Zimmer is a fiber artist who works with a variety of media for each piece she creates. Her workshop will explore watercolor paint and other watercolor soluble mediums to create an image using a silk screen. We will then work digitally or manually on enhancing the pieces and then transfer them to fabric to add embellishments.
The workshop is mandatory. Meets every Wednesday for the month of April.

Upenn Science students present the natural wonders of Puerto Rico. This interactive presentation will bring Upenn science students to Taller to discuss and share their research on the biodiversity of Puerto Rico. Pizza and snacks will be provided.
Friday, April 26, 2019 Deadline for the DELPHI Summer Teen Media Program
The Delphi Summer Teen Media Program provides unique training in both film making and the visual arts. For six weeks during the summer, students work with professional filmmakers to learn camera techniques, acting exercises, script writing, and film editing. Throughout the summer, the program also exposes the students to career opportunities in both the visual and media arts. This year, the Philadelphia Museum of Art will partner with the Big Picture Alliance, Taller Puertorriqueño and Esperanza Academy in the implementation of the Delphi Summer Teen Media Program.

Once accepted, attendance for all sessions is mandatory.

We are going to the cloisters for a tour, lunch, and a drawing session. We only have 10 spaces. First come first serve.
