Due to the recent rise of covid-19 cases in Philadelphia, the Youth Artist Program will cease all in-person programming. Our in-person project, Social Justice Fashion, will continue as a virtual meeting twice a week. This virtual meeting will happen on the platform Discord. be sure to download discord on your computer or phone. Discord can also be used in the web browser if you are not able to download the app.

The meetings will happen every Thursday and Friday from 4 to 5:30 pm, except for Thanksgiving week, where we will meet once on Wednesday, November 25. These meetings will allow students to showcase their designs and receive feedback on their work. There will also be profiles and talks related to social justice history and formal design practices.
Students who are currently registered and participating will have their stipend postmarked and in the mail by Dec 18. Attending these meetings is mandatory for students who wish to receive their stipend.
