National Portfolio Day

For students interested in getting your profile reviewed please go to the national portfolio day website and schedule your interview with the schools of your interest. The national portfolio day will be virtual this year and they have an instructional page dedicated to navigating you through the process.

Stipend Program for in-person projects

Youth artist program and the Norris Square Neighborhood Project are collaborating to present to you #SocialJusticeFashion.

This program has 10 spots available for youth who will work as designers to create unique images for soft merchandise (t-shirts, totes, scarves, etc.)

This program has a requirement of attending two days a week in-person and has a stipend of $280 at the end of the semester.

First meeting Friday, Oct. 23, 2020.

Awakening Your Creativity 

Virtual  College readiness Workshop

Hosted by the Klein School Of Media, 

Temple University

“Awakening Your Creativity” is a workshop series aimed to share new ways to think about and explore your own creativity, however you choose to express it. These workshops will be held on the third Wednesday of the month from September – December, and aim to engage students with new culminating information within a concise 1.5 hour workshop. We will also provide an overview of Klein College as an introduction to each workshop.

If you cannot make the time and date of the live event, feel free to register to receive a link to the YouTube recording after the event. You are welcome to join even if you did not make the September event, as each workshop is independent of each other. You can also view the September work

Kensington Voice Call to Artists

Kensington Voice Newspaper is looking for 4 artists located in or around the 19134 zip code to design and decorate our newspaper boxes to be placed in the lobbies of various community organizations.
